Scientific schools EP: Scientific schools or scientific directions of the department, (scientific projects): Training of specialists in the educational program "7M01701 - Kazakh language and literature", "8D01701 - Kazakh language and literature": 1) theoretical and methodological literary criticism, which develops scientific concepts, conceptual and categorical apparatus of the science of literature; 2) literary comparative studies, based on a comparative historical study of national literatures, identifying patterns in the development of world and domestic literature; 3) intertextology and textology, which studies the features of functioning, the nature of literary texts; 4) innovative and communicative technologies of philology, which is engaged in the development and implementation of new methods and techniques for teaching the humanities; 5) literary criticism, which is engaged in assessing the significance of the artistic heritage of the past and present, identifying the place and role of the writer in the historical and cultural process; 6) hermeneutics and receptive aesthetics, which studies the features of perception and interpretation of the meanings inherent in a work of art; 7) linguistic axiology - which explores the identity of a linguistic personality and values in a linguistic manifestation.

The main aspect is the research activity of the teacher.The current stage of modernization of the Kazakh system of education and science provides for the possibility of acquiring new professional skills, developing research and creative competencies of teaching staff. In this regard, in the paradigm of the achievements of domestic and world social sciences and the humanities, the training of teaching staff who are able to independently lead and solve actual scientific, practical problems of the Kazakh language and literature and its teaching is relevant.The educational program is based on the need to train teaching staff with systemic knowledge and a critical attitude to the problems of modern literary criticism, language, pedagogy, able to conduct a professional and comprehensive analysis of problems in a particular area, to conduct an examination of scientific projects and research.
