II International scientific congress «ETHNO-LINGUISTIC DIVERSITY OF WORLD AND TURKIC HERITAGE»

 

Dear friends and colleagues,

we invite You to participate in the second Congress

«Ethno-linguistic diversity of world and Turkic heritage»

16-17 January 2024!

 

The goal of the Congress – discuss the key general theoretical and methodological problems of Turkic and Altaic studies, diachronic comparative ethnolinguoculturology, theory of language contacts.

 

Main directions of the Congress:

  • The language of the history and history within the language;
  • Turkic and Altaic languages: history and modernity;
  • Unity in the diversity of languages and cultures;
  • Historical and archaeological research: Formation and evolution of commonality of Turkic nations.

 

It is expected that prominent turkologists, altaists and specialists in the sphere of diachronic comparative study will speak in the program of the Congress.

We are inviting to the discussion university lecturers, employees of research organizations, workers of archives, young researchers, PhDs, masters and students. 

 

Languages of the discussion: Kazakh, Russian and English.

Form of participation: offline and online (with Zoom connection).

Location: library of Kazakh national university of al-Farabi (Almaty, al-Farabi avenue, 71/27).

 

For your participation, we require you to register through link until December 16, 2023https://forms.gle/3BQRW66DXhEZkFjp7 and send annotation in three languages (Kazakh, Russian, English) to e-mail address: turkology.ri@gmail.com.

 

By the beginning of the congress, we are planning to publish a program with annotations of reports. The abstract should be at least 160 and no more than 300 words long.

 

The publication of the collection of materials of the Congress is not planned, but by the decision of Organizing Committee the best reports will be accepted into a scientific journal «Comparative Studies».

 

Additional information will be sent to participators via the second informational letter after receiving the application by the Organizing Committee.
