Nursing

The Nursing course was founded in 2019 under the guidance of Dr. Ospanova Dinara Almakhanovna at the Department of Fundamental Medicine of the Higher School of Medicine. In the same year, the first enrollment of applicants was made for the shortened program of academic baccalaureate 6B10101 - Nursing on the basis of TVE (2.5 years of study and 10 months of study on the basis of applied baccalaureate).Since 2021, the course has been preparing masters in the educational program of the scientific and pedagogical direction 7M10121 - Nursing (Quality Management) and 7M10122 - Nursing of the profile direction, since 2022 - 7M10123 - Quality Management in Healthcare 2 years of study.Doctors of sciences, candidates of medical sciences, PhD, masters of medical sciences, graduates of a two-degree Kazakh-Finnish master's program in Nursing work at the department.The teaching staff participates in international projects under the Erasmus + program: BACE, LMQS, within which educational programs are developed and updated together with European partners.

EP purpose

The aim of the program is to train qualified nursing professionals with professional theoretical knowledge and practical skills, able to successfully carry out pedagogical and research activities, capable of promoting advanced nursing practices, coordinating, and contributing to the successful reform of nursing services in health care.

8. The undergraduate uses research results and promotes the application of advanced nursing practices based on evidence-based medicine.

9. The undergraduate uses skills in planning, conducting, and evaluating research and scientific publications in the field of nursing.

10. The undergraduate applies the processing and interpretation of statistical data, incl. using modern computer programs when conducting research in nursing.
