   On April 22, 2021, the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University won the Grand Prize of the competition "Teacher of the Year of Kazakhstan" for the first time since independence. The winner of the competition: "Lyra-1997", the teacher-scholart, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Daribayev S.D. invites you to take part in the online round - table discussion on the topic: "Topical problems of studying the poetry of poets and poetesses" dedicated to Samal Daribayevich’s 50th anniversary. Kazakhstani literary scholars, researchers of universities and research institutions, students, master students and PhD students are invited to take part in this discussion. The online conference will discuss the relationship between literature and folklore, topical issues of poetry of poets and poetesses, as well as Samal Daribayevich’s contribution to literature, education and teaching. The following topics will be discussed:

- New tendencies in the study of poetry and its relevance;

- The relationship of literature and folklore in Samal Daribayevich’s research;

- The views of the teacher-scholar on the study of the history and folklore of Kazakh literature;

- New tendencies and methods of teaching the poetry of poets and poetesses.

   The round – table discussion will start on April 22, 2021 at 12:00 on the Zoom platform.
