He was awarded the order of the badge of Honor (1949), twice the Order of the red banner of Labor (1945,1956), the Order of Lenin (1957), the medal" for Labor valor "and certificates of honor of the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR. M. Auezov is the author of more than 20 plays: "Ayman-Sholpan" (1934), "Abay", "Kara Kipchak Kobylandy" (1943-1944), "night Saryn" ("Zarnitsa") (1934), "border" (1937), "Critical Hour" (1942) and others.
