Master students of the 1st year of the educational programme "7M05404 - Mechanics" Alakova A.S., Baizakova A.M., Zhumabaeva T.A. held an open event dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Vasily Antonovich Sapa on the theme "The centenary of Vasily Antonovich Sapa: Life marked by time".

The faculty and students of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics were invited to the event.

A presentation on the life of Vasily Antonovich was prepared. Distinguished faculty members of the Department of Mechanics and not only shared their warm memories of Vasily Antonovich.

The memory of Vasily Antonovich Sapa will always be in our hearts. In his youth, risking much, he chose a cause that became the meaning of his life. Contrary to the verdict of doctors, he chose the thorny path of science. And hard scientific work led him to the heights of knowledge and pedagogical skills, made his life worthy of imitation for young people.
