On April 14, 2022, the teaching staff and students of the Department of Mechanics of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University visited the production and experimental base of the Institute of Mechanics and Engineering named after Academician U.A. Dzholdasbekov.

As part of the project on the integration of education and science since 2014, together with the Institute of Mechanics and Engineering named after academician U.A. Dzholdasbekov, masters and doctors are being trained in the educational programs "Mechanics", "Space equipment and technologies" and "Robotic systems" of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

In 2021, the Institute of Mechanics and Engineering named after Academician U.A. Dzholdasbekov opened a new Experimental and Production Base on the basis of a public-private partnership in the area of the Damu Industrial Zone, Almaty. On the territory of the experimental production base, installations of scientific and technical achievements of IMMash scientists in the field of machine mechanics and robotics are exhibited, including those commissioned by production partners: KazAtomprom, NAZ LLP, AtumEL LLP, Scientific and Production Center named after. S. Abdraimov (Kyrgyzstan) and others.

During a visit to the experimental production base, the teaching staff and students of the Department of Mechanics got acquainted with the activities of the design bureau, electrical installation and commissioning, machining, 3D scanning, development and manufacture of control units and boards.

In conclusion, the parties announced the prospects for cooperation and discussed the possibilities of implementing joint scientific and practical projects.
