On April 05, 2022 at 11.00 on the 15th floor of the Rector's Office of Al-Farabi KazNU, a Leadership lecture was held by the founder and President of Almaty Management University (AlmaU), Doctor of Business Administration, graduate of the Department of Continuum Mechanics of the Faculty of Mechanics and Applied Mathematics of S.M. Kirov KazGU Kozhakhmetov Asylbek Bazarbaevich.

The meeting was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics PhD, Professor D.B.Zhakebaev.

Asylbek Kozhakhmetov is a graduate of the Department of Continuum Mechanics of the Faculty of Mechanics and Applied Mathematics. He had an internship in Germany, France, Great Britain, Belgium, Holland, Hungary, Estonia. In 2013, Asylbek Bazarbaevich became a scholarship holder of the Bolashak state program and completed a scientific internship at the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley. Author of more than 70 scientific Kazakhstani and international publications on the development of management and education. In the 1980s, he worked as a teacher at the Department of Mechanics at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. In the early 90s, he founded the Almaty School of Managers, which later became a large Business Academy.

In his speech, Asylbek Kozhakhmetov dwelled in detail on the issues of quality education, development and improvement of leadership qualities, critical and strategic thinking.

The speaker also noted his many years of work in the team of KazNU. According to Asylbek Bazarbayevich, the main goal of the university should be not only to educate students, but also to contribute to the development of the country's economy. A graduate who graduated from a university must be qualified and educated. In addition, by the time of graduation, each student must form himself as a person, - the successful entrepreneur believes.

During the lecture, the speaker answered the following questions: How to adapt to changing market conditions? How to minimize risks? How to achieve a high level of self-organization of the created system? and others.

At the end, the audience was able to ask all their questions regarding entrepreneurship and leadership.
