On April 20, 2023, the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted the closing ceremony of the republican Olympic subject competition among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the specialty "6B05102 – Biology". 33 students from 6 cities of the country, 9 universities took part in the subject Olympiad in the specialty "6B05102 – Biology". The students of the 2nd stage of the individual Olympiad and the 3rd stage of the calculation were awarded a diploma of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
