On 25.03.2022, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a meeting with 17 students of the regional multidisciplinary, multilingual boarding school located in Ekibastuz. At this meeting, the guiding specialists of the University answered the questions of students and introduced them to the educational programs. We wish good luck to applicants!

4th year students of the specialty "Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications" of Solid State Physics and Nonlinear Physics Department Aryn Galymzhan and Amangeldinov Merey were awarded a gold medal from the International Academy of Informatization (MAIN) for the development of equipment for educational institutions under the guidance of engineer Aktaev Erkin and teachers Alimgazinova N .Sh. and Tolegenova A.A. Previously, they took 1st place at the International Exhibition and, together with the staff of the department, received patents for the invention.

Huawei together with Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held an ICT competition “ICT Solutions Kazakhstan 2020” for Kazakhstani students and schoolchildren. The ICT Solutions Kazakhstan 2020 competition was launched in Kazakhstan for the first time in partnership with the country's leading university. The project is aimed at supporting young talents through the ICT ecosystem and increasing interest in the field as a tool for solving real problems of society as a whole. The task of the participants was to find creative solutions to the current and socially important problems of society through the use of modern technologies.
