"Day of state symbols of Kazakhstan"

Curators of the Department of Physical Education and Sports held a curatorial watch on the theme: "Day of the state symbols of Kazakhstan" 

State symbols are one of the inalienable attributes of any state embodying its identity and sovereignty. In the Republic of Kazakhstan, state symbols are the National Flag, the State Emblem and the National Anthem.

The national flag of the RK is a rectangular panel of blue color with a picture in the center of the sun with rays, under which is a soaring eagle. At the shaft - a vertical strip with a national ornament. The image of the sun, its rays, the eagle and national ornament - the color of gold. The author of the National Flag is Shaken Niyazbekov, the art-deferred art worker of Kazakhstan.

The State Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan has the shape of a circle and is an image of a shanyrak on a blue background, from which the Uyks diverge in all directions in the form of sunrays. On the right and left of Shanyrak are images of mythical winged horses. In the upper part is a voluminous five-pointed star, and in the lower part there is an inscription "Kazakhstan". The image of a star, shanyrak, uyks, mythical horses, as well as the inscription "Kazakhstan" - the color of gold. The authors of the State Emblem of Kazakhstan are famous architects Zhandarbek Malibekov and Shot-Aman Valikhanov. 

The hymn of the RK, formerly known as the song "Menі Қазақстаным", on the initiative of President Nursultan Nazarbayev was approved by the Parliament of the country on January 6, 2006. It was first heard on January 11, 2006 during the solemn inauguration of the Head of State. Music - composer Shamshi Kaldayakov, words - Zhumeken Nazhimedenov and Nursultan Nazarbayev.
