On December 16, 1991, a new state appeared on the world map – the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Constitutional law "On the State Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan" was adopted by the resolution of the Supreme Council. Now our country is celebrating this significant public holiday – the 30th anniversary of independence.

On the eve of the holiday, a solemn meeting dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the country's Independence was held at the al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The festive event was attended by government and public figures, representatives of the intelligentsia and the media, faculty and students.

Representatives of all faculties of our university were awarded.

The big gold medal "For outstanding contribution to the development of al-Farabi Kazakh National University" was awarded to Doctor of Law, Professor Ibraeva Alua Salamatovna. Professor Ibraeva A.S. has been working at the University since 1984. She is the author of many textbooks and teaching aids, has trained eighteen candidates of law and six PhD doctors. He takes an active part in all university events, is the chairman of the Academic Committee on the Quality of Education of the Faculty of Law, an expert of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an expert on anti-corruption expertise of regulatory legal acts.

The medal of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University "Eren enbegi ushin" ("For labor distinction") was awarded to the chief specialist of the Center for Situational Management of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University Agibayeva Nailya Koshimbayevna.

After the ceremonial part, a solemn concert was held. Everyone was impressed by the singing talent of the 3rd year student of the Faculty of Law Uruzbaeva Anel. Anel is an excellent student, is the owner of a Presidential scholarship for excellent studies, as well as the Grand Prix at national and international competitions such as "Creativita senza frontiere", held in Italy and "Innermost Strings of the Soul", which is held annually by the Fund of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and has been performing on the stage of the State Opera and Ballet Theater "Astana Opera" for more than 7 years.

Congratulations to Doctor of Law, Professor Ibraeva A.S. and Chief Specialist Agibaeva N.K. with a well-deserved award!
