International scientific-practical conference "Actual problems of combating corruption"

On December 8, 2021, the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, together with the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty and the Republican project office "Sanaly Urpaq" held an international scientific and practical conference "Actual problems of combating corruption", dedicated to the memory of Professor Useinova Gulnara Rakhimzhanovna - coordinator of the Republican Project Office "Sanaly Urpaq", head of the project "Adal Kumek" in the city of Almaty. From 2011 to April 2021, Gulnara Rakhimzhanovna headed the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law of Al-Farabi KazNU.
The conference considered topical issues of the concept and essence of corruption as a social phenomenon in the Republic of Kazakhstan, international legal and national experience in the formation of anti-corruption culture, analysis of legislation and legal practice.
The conference was attended by representatives of the highest and local legislative, judicial and executive authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, international and national experts, representatives of civil society, universities and the media.
