A round table was held on the topic "Religious extremism, terrorism - a threat to peace and stability"

Mentor-scientists emphasized that the problems of extremism in the country lie in spiritual exhaustion, as well as the fact that young people are not able to distinguish reliable information from false information on the Internet and fall under the influence of various negative trends.        Mentor-scientists emphasized that the problems of extremism in the country lie in spiritual exhaustion, as well as the fact that young people are not able to distinguish reliable information from false information on the Internet and fall under the influence of various negative trends. One of the reasons for this situation in society is the lack of education and religious literacy.

Continuing the spiritual essence and traditions that are handed down from generation to generation, as well as developing a national culture, we should learn to use the socially useful values of religion in everyday life through a correct understanding of their postulates. There is no doubt that the young generation, which can develop a sense of patriotism, respect for parents and nurture qualities such as good character, responsiveness and modesty, will not succumb to the influence of a different ideology.

There is no doubt that the descendants who were brought up by memorizing the poems “Alpamys”, “Koblandy” and “Yer Tostik” from childhood, listening to the spiritual heritage of al-Farabi, the wise instructions of Abay-Hakim, the valuable precepts of Abyz-Biy will become the future of our country.

Such spiritual instructions of the older generation raised the spirit, honor and dignity of the youngsters, charging them with spiritual sustenance. Both parties expressed their gratitude to the staff of the library named after A.P. Chekhov, who organized the event.
