On 11th of April, within the framework of the "Rukhani Zhangyru" program was held an event"expressive reading of Abai Kunanbayev’s poems in Arabic language " with the 3rd year students of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia. Responsible teachers Zhumazhanova F.T. and Koptileuova D.T. met with students by the electronic program "Zoom" and showed their willingness to adapt quickly under different circumstances and continue to work with students of the department.

In honor of the 175th anniversary of the birth of the great Kazakh thinker Abay Kunanbayev, students of the department read their favorite poems in Arabic language.

The main purpose of the event is to present Abay's poems and sayings to people of different cultures. It is worth noting that the students achieved this goal, and everyone shared their thoughts and wonderful feelings.

This event showed the importance of the value of the past, without which there is no future. Thanks to such events, students come to the opinion of following in the footsteps of great people.
