On November 4, 2018, the Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies at the KazNU named after Al-Farabi Y.M. Paltore received Dr. Sanjay Garg, Director of the Indian Cultural Center at the Embassy of the Republic of India to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
           During the meeting with the director of the cultural center Sanjay Garg, the issues of the “Days of India” festival were discussed, which was organized in honor of the Republic day of India and will be held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University from January 28 to January 31, 2019,. Students and teachers of the department of Indology attended this meeting. The festival program was compiled and divided into 4 days, of which the first day will feature Indian poetry and Bollywood songs, on the second day the Mehndi Design Competition, the third day will be devoted to the Great Ideologist of the national liberation movement of India, the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, The fourth day will be on Fashion Show and Indian tradition Raksha Bandhan.
           After discussing all the issues regarding this festival, the meeting was completed with a memorable photo.
