The faculty and students of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia participated in the event organized by the Cultural Representation of Iran.
On September 10, as part of the "Sustainable Development Goals" project, the faculty and students of the Iranian Studies section of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia took part in the opening of a Persian language course and exhibition hall at the Cultural Center of the Iranian Consulate General in Almaty. At the event, the faculty members and Dr. F. Shakiba gave speeches. During the evening, first-year student Rahat Adilov performed several Kazakh folk songs. At the end of the event, students from the Iranian Studies section of the Faculty of Oriental Studies who were admitted to the 1st course received gifts from the cultural center.
