A good tradition was the establishment of nominal scholarships at the Chair of Political Science of KazNU. Al-Farabi. So, on June 6, 2015, the nominal scholarships were awarded to professors Tlemis Mustafin, Nurbolat Masanov, Sabit Zhusupov, Meirzhan Mashan.

The presentation was held based on the results of the contest for the best scientific work of students and undergraduates of the Political Science Department, which was initiated and established by the Director of KISI under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Karin. The purpose of the intellectual competition was to support the scientific search and experience of analytical research among students. Topics of scientific work corresponded to the following areas: "Political modernization in Kazakhstan", "Development of political science in Kazakhstan at the present stage of development", "Transformation of the political system of Kazakhstan", "Security in Central Asia: threats and solutions".

Thus, Imanbai Zhandos became the owner of the Tlemis Mustafi scholarship, the Nurbolat Masanov scholarship  was handed to Tursynkulov Dauren, the Sabit Zhusupov scholarship was awarded to Nurbankat Nyshbabaev and the Meirzhan Mashan scholarship - Abdrashitova Aigerim.

The awarding ceremony was held in a friendly and warm atmosphere. The event has acquired a special symbolism and meaning, as the winners of the contest received scholarships from close relatives of scientists. The fellows, in turn, expressed their sincere gratitude to the organizers.
