From March 29, 2019, Al-Farabi conducts the Republican Student Subject Olympiad in the specialties 5B071900 - “Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications”, 5B061100 - “Physics and Astronomy”, 5B071000 - “Materials Science and Technology of New Materials” (in Kazakh and Russian) .

The university participant sends only one team for each direction. Teams should consist of 3-4 students of a course (no more than 3 people) and a team leader (teacher).
Travel expenses (travel, accommodation, meals) of the participants are paid by the university that sent the team. KazNU does not provide a hostel.
