International scientific and practical conference "Education and psychological and pedagogical science: systematic, continuity, innovation", dedicated to the 110th anniversary of academician T. Tazhibayev
Today, May 5, 2020, the International scientific and practical conference "Education and psychological and pedagogical science: systematic, continuity, innovation" was held, dedicated to the 110th anniversary of academician T. Tazhibayev.
Tolegen Tazhibayev is a great man, a Soviet Kazakhstani public and statesman, a prominent scientist, teacher, doctor of pedagogical sciences, academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR.
He became the first Kazakh professional psychologist to defend his candidate and doctoral dissertations in Leningrad. It was Tazhibaev who laid the foundation for the development of Kazakhstan's psychological science, opening in 1947 at the Kazakh State University a department of psychology and logic.
In 1948-1953 – rector of the Kazakh State University named after S.M.Kirov.
In 1961-1964 – head of the Department of pedagogy and psychology, Kazakh State University named after S.M.Kirov.
The moderator of the conference was the dean of the faculty of philosophy and political science A.R.Masalimova. The international conference was attended by representatives of several universities of the country, student scientists, representatives of the ministry and administration of the al-Farabi Museum. The conference discussed topical issues of pedagogy and psychology.
