Results of the XI Republican Subject Olympiad of Students

On March 28-29, 2019, the 11th Republican Subject Olympiad in Psychology was held at the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi. 24 students from the 7th higher education institutions of the country applied and participated: Karaganda State University named after E.A.Buketov, Taraz State Pedagogical University, Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai, Turan University, Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi, Pedagogical State University named after S.Toraigyrov, Central Asian Academy (Karaganda city).

Distinguished specialists, experienced psychologists from faculty of higher education institutions were invited to the jury. Chairman of the jury – head of the department of Pedagogy and Social Disciplines, Psychology of Kainar Academy, c.psychol.s., associate professor L. K. Komekbayeva.

The Olympiad consisted of 4 rounds:

  1. Testing by basic psychological disciplines
  2. Psychological diagnostics (interpretation and analysis of psychological methods)
  3. Video demonstration competition on "Our Choice - Psychology"
  4. Psychological quiz "What? Where? When?"

The maximum score for each tour is 100 points.

On March 29, 2019, the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience "COGNEURO" held a master class for participants of the Republican Subject Olympiad. The best students and lecturers who came from all over the country got an opportunity to get acquainted with the peculiarities of IT-technologies in the study of psychophysiology, mental states (information system NeuroChat, Neuron-Spectrum BOS, EEG, etc.) and human brain.
