On December 7, 2017, the International scientific and methodological conference "Tendencies and perspectives of the development of modern psychological science and practice", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Kazakh scientific psychology was held in the al-Fraibi KazNU, , as well as the I Constituent congress of the Kazakh Psychological Society.
At the conference and the congress actual theoretical, methodological, methodological and scientific-practical problems of modern world and Kazakhstan psychology were discussed. Scientists and practitioners from all regions of Kazakhstan noted that consolidation of the Kazakh psychological community, expansion of professional contacts, assistance to professional and personal development of psychologists and specialists of related professions are now more important than ever. The conference was attended by psychologists from the countries of near and far abroad.
Kazakh psychologist, doctor of pedagogical and psychological sciences, professor KazNU named after al-Farabi, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Kazakhstan, Zharikbayev Kubigul Bozayevich was honored within the framework of the event.
