Anna Akhmatova - the great Russian poet

Anna Akhmatova was born in Odessa on June 11, 1889, in the family of engineer-captain of the 2nd rank Andrei AntonovichGorenko and Inna Erazmovna.

After the birth of daughter, the family moved to TsarskoyeSelo, where Akhmatova studied at Maria High School.

She spoke French perfectly.

In 1905, Inna Erazmovna divorced her husband and moved with the children to Yevpatoriya first, and then to Kiev. Here Anna Akhmatova graduated from Fundukleyev high school and enrolled in the Faculty of Law of Higher Courses for Women, giving the preference for history and literature.

Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages ​​Kaliyeva AZ:Since the 1910s Akhmatova began her literary activity. His first poem under the pseudonym of Anna Akhmatova, she published when she was 20, and the first collection of poems "Evening" was released in 1912.
