From 4^th until 6^th of January, 2017, Second republic winter psychological school conducted in KazNU its psychological workshops: health caring, education, organizations.

More than 100 psychology specialists from education, health care systems, organizations (universities, schools, colleagues, kindergartens and centers), and also, students and teachers from various regions of Kazakhstan, such as: Astana, Aktyubinsk, Karagandy, Shymkent, Taraz, Almaty, Zhetysai, South Kazakhstan, Zhambyl and Almaty regions participated in winter school.

The aim of the School was the development and improvement of psychological competence in various fields of professional activity.

Winter psychological school program was diverse and rich.

The workshop themes were actual and consisted of following subjects:

10.  Professor Toksanbaeva N.K. – Psycho-diagnostics technologies (working language – Kazakh).

11.  Docents Kalymbetova E.K. and Baimoldina L.O. - The problem of suicide and its prevention (working language – Kazakh).

12.  Docent Zholdassova M.K. – Art therapy (working language – Kazakh).

Following lectures were conducted:

Upon completion of the School participants were given professional development certificates (36 hours) from KazNU institute of upraising the qualification and Psychological center of innovations and technologies of the faculty of philosophy and political science.

One should note here several key points of winter school 2017:

At the closing ceremony of the Second Winter Psychological School participants thanked for organizing, expressed wishes to continue the tradition of the Winter School, and willingness to participate in the Psychological Summer School, which is planned on June 2017.

Organizers of the Second Winter Psychological School are department of general and applied psychology, Psychological center of innovations and technologies of the faculty of philosophy and political science and KazNU institute of upraising the qualification.

The ideological inspirers of this event for Kazakhstan psychologists were dean of the faculty of philosophy and political science, doctor of philosophy, professor A.R. Masalimova and head of the department of general and applied psychology, doctor of psychology, professor Z.B. Madalieva.

Organize- moderators and supervisors of this event were the teachers of general and applied psychology department, Faizullina A.K. and Kabakova M.P. The volunteers were the second course psychology students, Ilimukhanova S. and Imankulova A.
