Independence made my country happy"

Our country has been rocking in the cradle of independence for 29 years. 29 years ago, on December 16, 1991, this holiday marked the birth of a new sovereign and independent republic - Kazakhstan. For such a short historical period, the people of Kazakhstan managed to build a democratic, legal and economically independent state by common efforts.

 

Independence Day is a significant holiday for every Kazakhstan сitizen. It is considered a symbol of freedom, prosperity and power of our common homeland.

The Independence Day of Kazakhstan plays an important role in the patriotic education of young people. Therefore, on November 30, 2020, on the ZOOM platform, within the framework of “Brighten the corner where you are” project, senior teacher of the Department of Foreign Languages, Candidate of Philology, leader of the club: Lingua, Aisultanova K.A. held an educational event on the theme “Independence made my country happy”. The 1st year students of the specialty "Religious studies" of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science were the event participants. The purpose of the event was to explain to the students why and for what purpose the youth came to the square, showing the heroism of our sons and daughters, who for the first time rebelled against the authoritarian-administrative leftist policy of the center in December 1986. During the event, students of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science showed a video and a slide show about the December events.
