On April 19-21, 2023, the traditional Republican Subject Olympiad was held at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. 12 teams of students studying under the program "Chemistry" competed in each city of the country.  

The organizers of the first and second stages of the subject Olympiad in the section "Analytical Chemistry" were the Department of Analytical, Colloid Chemistry and Technology of Rare Elements. Associate professors of the department Badavamova G.L., Ismailova A.G. The report in the theoretical part was of an applied nature, and in the practical part, the students honed their skills in working in the laboratory. The work presented at the laboratory stage was performed at a high level, the participants were satisfied with the presentation of the work, its implementation and equipment.

 The main goal of organizing the Republican Subject Olympiad is not only to identify gifted students, but also to provide equal opportunities for everyone who wants to take part in the Olympiad.

 The Subject Olympiad is organized within the framework of achieving the goal of “Reducing Inequality”.
