The internship of the PhD-student Saydulla Fayzullaev in the framework of the Polish project PROM

In autumn, 2022, the PhD student of the department of analytical, colloid chemistry and technology of rare elements Saidulla Fayzullaev completed an internship at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun (NCU) as part of his doctoral program and won a grant under the Polish program PROM project. The aim of the project is to increase the level of internationalization of research and education of students in the field of the natural sciences. One of the activities of the PROM project is the financing of short-term internships for foreign PhD-students at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun (NCU). S. Fayzullaev successfully passed the competitive selection and used the grant of the PROM project in his scientific trip.

During the internship, he researched the demulsification of model emulsions with coal ash particles and the possibility of membrane separation of emulsions under the supervising of the professor of the Department of Physical Chemistry and Physical Chemistry of Polymers, Faculty of Chemistry NCU Wojciech Kujawski. Colleagues from the Polish University spoke well of the ability to work and involvement in the scientific work of a young scientist from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. According to the results, the PhD-student is currently preparing articles for publication in journals in collaboration with Professor W. Kujawski.
