Within the Green Campus project on November 24, 2017 faculty of Biology and biotechnology the student's tour to the subject "Mionitoring Resistance to Phytopathogenic Diseases of Wood Plants of the Botanical Garden of Almaty" among students of the 4th course in the specialty "5B070100" - Biotechnology was conducted.

Purpose and problems of an excursion: identification of an unsuccessful condition of a forest stand, detection of the sites of a garden with the broken stability damaged and which are drying out under the influence of natural and anthropogenic factors and obtaining information on character and extent of impact on planting of these factors for a decision making on application of efficient forest shelter actions.

As a result of monitoring by students reconostic, detailed methods examinations on particular sites of a botanical garden were conducted. On the basis of researches were revealed and estimated phytopathology degree (population of trees by stem wreckers, fruit bodies of fungi, the reference types decay, tumors, necroses, cancer and drying and etc.) wood plants. The forecast of development of a pathological situation is made, the expected threats of damage of plantings are defined and estimates of potential ecological and economic damage, justification and a decision making on protection of plants are made.

Students showed the theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of a phytopathology in the conclusion, to prove novelty, the theoretical and practical importance of results of a research; skills of realization of a research on identification and diagnostics a disease of plants to build investigation phases, to carry out a reflection of characteristic research actions; to do forecasts, to self-contained formulate hypotheses, the conclusions and conclusions.
