On February, 16, 2017 department of biotechnology of faculty of biology and biotechnology together with the research workers of institute of KazNRI of agriculture and plant-grower conducted vocational orientation work  "My future professional career" for students 2 courses of speciality of "5В070100 is Biotechnology". Aim of event: acquaintance with possibilities of construction of professional career in the research institutes of РК; development of motivation of achievement of success is with professional activity.

During an event acquainting work of students was conducted with structural subdivisions of institute. There was the организованна meeting with the research workers  of laboratories (biochemistry and quality of grain,  biotechnology of plants, molecular - biological analysis of plants, immunity and defence of plants) and  departments (mineral feed and agroecology, irrigable agriculture,  leguminous plants, green and oil-bearing crops, selection and seed-grower of corn,  selection of spring wheat, grain-crops).

By students short lectures (deputy CEO, PhD Bastaubaev Sh.O., doctor of agricultural sciences,   academician NAS RK Ramazanova S.B., doctor of agricultural sciences,  Igorski A.B.,  PhD, s.r.a. Baimaganova G.Sh., PhD,  manager of laboratory Erzhebaeva R.S., PhD, s.r.a.  Abekova A.M.,  j.r.a. Zhasakpaeva E.S., j.r.a. Nurkasimova S.D.,  j.r.a. Burlakpaeva B.K.) were listened about innovative directions scientifically - to research activity of structural subdivisions of institute, about results and achievements the realized scientific projects. During the lecture students have been acquainted with modern achievements of biotechnology in ecological selection in combination with traditional methods for the accelerated creation of donors hozyaystvenno - the valuable signs providing removal of new highly productive grades and hybrids of wheat, corn, barley and sugar beet, soy steady against stressful factors of the environment. And also with activity selektsionno - seed-growing divisions of institute: introduction of molecular markers at all stages of selection process, in registration and differentiation of genetic resources of grain, leguminous and oil-bearing crops, in primary seed farming of grades and hybrids with agriculture cultures. Development and deployment in selection with  agriculture cultures of fiziologo-biochemical indicators of quality, efficiency, evaluating tests on resistance to adverse biotic and abiotic factors of the environment. Removal of highly productive grades of the forage and oil-bearing crops adapted to various is soil – to climatic conditions of Kazakhstan. The second part of fact-finding work has been continued in the institute greenhouse. At the end of an action students have visited the museum where they have obtained many interesting data on achievements of scientists of institute.
