On October 8, 2015 the chair of biotechnology of faculty of biology and biotechnology invites to the historical and informative action devoted to "the 550 anniversary of formation of the Kazakh khanate" the action Purpose: to promote formation of high feeling of the Kazakhstan patriotism and pride of the Homeland Kazakhstan.

2015 is declared year of celebration of 550-year anniversary of formation of the Kazakh khanate. Creation of the Kazakh khanate in 1465 was a turning point in the history of Kazakhstan. Speaking about founders of the Kazakh khanate – Kerey and Zhanibek, it is important to note that, thanks to them the ethnopolitical territory of this state was created and got stronger, international relations were established. At the worthy successor Kasym of the khan – Haknazar the khan the Kazakh khanate stretched in the West to the Urals, in the north – to Esil and Nur's rivers, in the east – to Shyngystau, Balkhash and Chu's river, in the south – to Turkestan. Strong commitment to idea of statehood in the XVI-XVIII centuries is traced and in activity of descendants of the khan Zhosha – Esim of the khan, his son Zhangir of the khan, the son Zhangir – to Tauke of the khan. The national consciousness and identity of Kazakhs passed serious tests in bloody wars with dzhungarsky conquerors. Studying history, we understand, independence how difficult was given. the 550 anniversary of the Kazakh khanate has the extreme political importance. This date – really major landmark in development of our statehood.

In common students of 2 - 4 courses of the specialty "5B070100-Biotechnology" carried out a dialogue platform in which took active part in discussion of historical prerequisites and stages of formation of the Kazakh nationality, a role of khans in formation of the state, force and power of the state. Students made reports, prepared presentations, videos, presented music turns.
