As an international cultural cooperation within the framework of the Rukhani Zhangyru program, on October 20, 2021, the Russian Language and Culture Center of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in the creative project of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Kazakhstan (Nur-Sultan) " We read the book by Baurzhan Momyshuly "Moscow is behind us: officer's notes". The project will be launched on the occasion of the birthday of the Hero of the Soviet Union, Panfilov's soldier, participant in the battle for Moscow.Students of Al-Farabi KazNU, studying Russian as a foreign language, under the guidance of Zhanna Umatova, took turns reading eleven excerpts from the work, which is a thematic continuation of "Volokolamsk highway" by Alexander Bek. There are no fictional events or fictional characters here. These are the notes of a person telling about what happened either before his eyes, or with himself. The author does not hide the truth of life, sometimes bitter and difficult. But this does not overshadow his bright faith in the Soviet man, faith in victory, which did not leave our soldiers and officers in difficult times.The project will be launched on the occasion of the birthday of Baurzhan Momyshuly, who would have turned 111 this year.
