Department of Sociology and Social Work at faculty of philosophy and political science of al-Farabi KazNU with the support of UNICEF implements the international project «Improving state programs for graduate and post-graduate training and re-training of social workers and specialists that perform the function of social work, including basic competencies for interaction at the individual level and in the community to change social norms and behaviour in Kazakhstan in the framework of the UNICEF-EU on the protection of children in migration processes». The project is focused on the adaptation of the educational package developed by Columbia University and on the improvement of Educational programs in «Social Work», the development of professional competencies for the formation of interpersonal communications.
