April 24-27, 2019 Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Almaty), Istanbul University: Eurasian Research Center named after Al-Farabi (Turkey, Istanbul), Aitmatov Academy (London, UK), Taraz Innovative-Humanitarian University (Taraz) will conduct an International Workshop "THE TURKIC WORLD: THINKERS OF THE GREAT STEPPE" within the framework of the project "Seven Sides of the Great Steppe"by N.A. Nazarbayev, that will be held at al-Farabi Kazakh National University in the framework of the XXII Akhanov's Readings.

The International Workshop is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Kazakh National University and the 85th anniversary of the birth of the famous scientist in turkology Altai Sarsenovich Amanzholov.
