According to the cooperation agreement signed in 2016 by the “Contemporary China Research Center” of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the “Contemporary China Research Center” of Wuhan University, the centers will hold an international symposium at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Almaty on May 3-4, 2019.
The symposium aims to promote mutual understanding of the “The Belt and Road” and “The bright road” through exchanges between scholars from both countries. Through in-depth discussions, the symposium will deepen understanding of the current situation, problems and development prospects of cooperation between Kazakhstan and China in various fields，promote academic exchanges between the two countries and enhance friendship and cooperation between the two sides.
