From 30.05.2021 to 01.06.2021, the XI All-Kazakhstan Universiade was held in Almaty, where the honor of our University of al-Farabi KazNU in the discipline "Bullet shooting" (from a rifle and a pistol) was defended by a 1st-year student of the educational program "Chemical technology of organic substances" Musienko Sofia. Sofia brought the team 4 medals: 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals, thanks to which the team of our university took a well-deserved 1st place in the overall ranking of teams.

February 12, 1930 in the Assembly hall of the hostel №13 within the framework of social and educational work, and the program "The cult of healthy way of life" "Aynalandy nurlandyr" with undergraduates 1 course specialization "HTOM" was held intellectual and entertaining game "" Healthy generation - the future of Kazakhstan "" among the students of 1-2 courses. The event was attended by over 30 students, 10 students participated in the game. 4.02.2016 года 1900 в Актовом зале общежития №13 была проведена научно-познавательная  встреча на тему «Лауреаты Нобелевской премии в области органической химии» в рамках проектов «100 книг» и «Айналанды нурландыр». Организаторы: к.х.н., доцент Мамутова А.А., к.х.н., старший преподаватель Иминова Р.С. Кафедра химии и технологии органических веществ, природных соединений и полимеров. Во время встречи провели ознакомительную и познавательную беседу о истории Нобелевских лауреатов в виде презентации, опроса и небольшой игры. Все учащиеся были очень заинтересованы и вдохновлены на новые открытия в области науки.

  International training seminar on professional development of teachers in the field of "Quality Assurance System for Engineering Education" in the Al Farabi Kazakh National University
December 12, 2015 in the Scientific Library of KazNU. Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Almaty hosted an international meeting of representatives of Central Asian societies of engineering education in the context of "The system guarantees the quality of engineering education: accreditation of educational programs and certification of engineering personnel", whose moderator was Rector of the University, Mr. G.M. Mutanov At the plenary session included reports of representatives of universities and QUEECA project coordinators countries Spain, Portugal, Uzbekistan, the Association for Engineering Education of Russia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

Within 2014-2015 academic years, teachers of chair proceeds active implementation of social and educational activity with students of faculty. April 9, 2015 on the territory of the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a marathon-running competition on speed, agility, intelligence and intellect "Zhenіske қaldy қadam bir", which was attended by students of the second and third year students of the Kazakh branch with the aim to involve students in the sport, test and develop intellectual abilities, nurture strength of spirit and consolidate the unity of the team and the will to win. April 8 at 14:30 in the 514 constituencies in the project "The cult of healthy body" under the program of KazNU "Formation of the desire for a healthy lifestyle and sport" conducted a training seminar on the prevention of HIV / AIDS by consultant psychologist of Public Fund "Operation Mercy" Ilyasova Kulmes Baymuratovna. Within the project "Aynalandy nurlandyr!" Charity event "Give children a holiday" for the pupils of the school №10 Internet-Almaty. (24.12.2014)

Within the project "Aynalandy nurlandyr!" December 24, 2014 was organized charity event "Give children a holiday" for the pupils of the school №10 Internet-Almaty. Christmas party held at which pupils were presented with gifts and money collected

2013-2014 academic year was the anniversary for the KazNU of al-Farabi, and therefore, with great interest and enthusiasm of the students and staff of the department took part in the event dedicated to meeting the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the framework of the 80th anniversary of the university KazNU. The active participation of students during the celebration of the Faculty of Independence of Kazakhstan, New Year's spark, Day of the Chemist, spring holidays.

For the purpose of educational work at the Faculty meetings are held with representatives of the health of students, carried out during the year systematic monitoring of the current progress and attendance of students of the department. The curators of the department regularly check the status of student life at the hostel (discipline, rule of law, respect for hygiene standards among the residents). Throughout the academic year, all curators-advisers with students attend theaters, museums, cinemas, sports complexes, the skating rink "Medeo", "Charyn Canyon", "Turgen waterfalls", go to the mountains, hiking.
