The students of group 115 of 1^st year of the Department of thermal physics and technical physics, Faculty of technical physics, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, together with their tutor adviser Kuikabayeva Aizhan Amangalievna actively took part in the preparation activities of Medeu skating rink opening ceremony.

We should be proud of them that one of their first activities after entering the university was the contribution to the country’s prosperity. The students were overwhelmed with making such an important thing. “Teacher, I am so happy that I am studying at this university and I am proud of it as I had tried to pass the common national testing three times in order to enter this university. I will appreciate each day of student life. The both the University and Medeu are so beautiful.” - said Maulenova Nurilya, student who came from Uzbekistan, expressing her gladness about the prosperity of her motherland. The glory of Medeu wondered the students who came there for the first time, they said that even the water of the place is so different. Being exited with the fresh air and the beauty of the nature it was not difficult for the students to do cleaning and coloring works of the stadium. I hope that this kind of activities will be organized more and more as they awaken the patriotic feelings. The administration of Medeu district of Almaty city sent the Certificate of gratitude to the Department of thermal physics and technical physics, Faculty of technical physics for the students’ active participation in this activity.
