To Karaganda for future students

Journalism Faculty senior teacher Olga Petrovna Lozhnikova has visited Karaganda city recently in order to take part in School Olympics. The competition was held in 65th middle school.
Before Olympics members of KazNU commission get acknowledged with auditorium funds, has consulted teachers. They explained how to seat children right, how to fill questionnaires and protocol forms. There are big hall in the school, which was used for KazNU presentation. There were 250 seats in the hall initially, but it was decided to add more seats in order to place 530 schoolchildren. Unfortunately, stormy weather prevented some pupils from attending Olympics. On March 13-15th some villages in Karaganda region were closed due to heavy snowstorm.
Olympics were started on March 15th with the KazNU presentation, which was greatly appreciated by schoolchildren. There were many questions asked about studying at KazNU. Karaganda schoolchildren were informed about KazNU Journalism Faculty. All of information leaflets about our Faculty were taken by pupils.
Olympics were held for several disciplines: Mathematics, Physics, Information Technologies, Literature, Russian, Kazakh, German, English and French languages, Biology, History and Geography.
Questionnaires, which were brought back from Karaganda, contain strong intentions of Karaganda pupils to enroll Kazakh National University.
