According to the UN directive, December 9 is the International Anti-Corruption Day. The al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted an international scientific and practical conference "Topical Issues of Combating Corruption" dedicated to the International Day against Corruption and the memory of Doctor of Law, Professor Gulnara Rakhimzhanovna Useynova.

During the conference reports from the heads of anti-corruption bodies, departments of justice, Civil Service were presented. This conference defined the goal of the state and society and outlined new directions in the fight against corruption.
