In the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, in the framework of the decade "Independence is the most precious thing", the film "The Sky of My Childhood" was shown. Students were once again inspired by watching the first feature film about the childhood and youth of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The film is based on the series of works of the First President "White path of justice", "At the turn of the century", "In the very heart of Eurasia", telling a true story about the life of the First President N. Nazarbayev. As a child, Nursultan Abishevich was called Sultan, and he dreamed of becoming a pilot. After graduating from high school, he had the opportunity to study at the Institute of Civil Aviation in Kiev. However, fate decreed otherwise. The film describes the life of Nursultan Nazarbayev from the moment of his birth to his 17 years.

The main character in the film was played by three actors - Elzhas Alpiev, Abilmansur Serikov, Nurlan Alimzhanov. The rest of the roles were played by Bibigul Tulegenova, Nurzhuman Ikhtymbaev, Natalya Arinbasarova, Almagul Alisheva, Yerzhan Zharylkasynov.

After watching a film about a great man, the students were surprised to learn about the innermost dreams that were hidden in the burning heart of the little Sultan.

Anastasia Kshnyakina, a third-year student of KazNU, shared her impressions of the viewing. “The film“ The Sky of My Childhood ”by Rustem Abdrashev is a wonderful biographical picture that tells about the childhood of the First President - Elbasy - Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev. The film is interesting, easy to read, sincere, and beautiful. Most of the scenes from Sultan's childhood were filmed in Zhailau Ushkonyr, in the village of Chemolgan, where the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was born. I think that the director chose an excellent location for filming. In the film I especially liked the landscapes, colorful views of nature. They make the film alive, convey the atmosphere of that time, as if they truly transfer the viewer to the childhood of the Sultan. The plot of the film is no less inspiring. It is captivating and dynamic, making the picture look like a breeze. After the film, I perceive the world in a new way and understand our First President, who since childhood has been striving for self-improvement and for his cherished dream. And we must follow an example and act! ”, Anastasia Kshnyakina assured me.

The 4th year student of the Faculty of Philology Saniya Sattarova noted that the film beautifully describes the life, customs and traditions of the people. “My heart was touched by the friendliness and hospitality of the Kazakh people during this difficult period. One more episode made a special impression when little Nursultan held in his hand the book "Ana tili" and read the poem by Ibrai Altynsarin "Kel balalar ogylyk". This wonderful shot made me think deeply that the President's childhood and personal qualities began with respect for his native language. The national identity inherent in the native language forms patriotism and boundless love for one's land, ”S. Sattarova said.

“I admire the beautiful nature of my homeland and am very proud of it. The memory of the childhood of the First President Nursultan Nazarbayev takes center stage in the film. This is an excellent job of the film team - to be able to describe the childhood of a person who raised the image of his country high and colorfully show his past. We were able to see the wise Nursultan in his childhood, ”said Uldana Zhursinova, a 4th year student of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics.

A first-year student of the Faculty of Journalism Aibek Berikboluly noted that the film was highly appreciated by the public. “A village boy who strives to work and study has become the Head of State. The film was shot at a very high level. Undoubtedly, showing a picture from the life of the President is an excellent example for student youth. I wish our country prosperity and all the best on the way to strengthening the independence of our country. "

The students who watched the picture were happy to say that the film gave them food for thought, motivation and gave them a boost of energy.
