JOINT PROJECTS ARE IMPLEMENTED WITH POLISH UNIVERSITIES

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University adopted a Memorandum of Understanding with the Development Agency of the Wroclaw Agglomeration of the Republic of Poland.

The bilateral agreement was signed by the acting Vice-Rector for Social Development of Al-Farabi KazNU Aliya Masalimova and Head of the Board of the Development Agency of the Wroclaw Agglomeration Magdalena Okulevska.

Within the framework of cooperation, the parties focused on the need to develop relations in the field of education and science, agreed on joint activities in the humanities, social, technical and natural sciences, as well as on other important issues.

It is worth noting that the Wroclaw Agglomeration Development Agency leads the Study in Wroclaw project, uniting 8 higher educational institutions in Poland (Wroclaw University, Wroclaw Polytechnic, University of Economics and Business in Wroclaw, Wroclaw University of Life Sciences, Coventry University Wroclaw, WSB University in Wroclaw, University business in Wroclaw, University of Lower Silesia).

Today KazNU cooperates with 14 universities in Poland, within the framework of which students, undergraduates and doctoral students undergo educational and research internships annually under the program of academic mobility. Also, within the framework of the program "Attracting foreign scientists to universities in Kazakhstan", KazNU annually attracts experts from leading universities of the world, including from Poland, to deliver lectures and provide scientific guidance to PhD doctoral students.
