STUDENTS OF THE KAZNU ARE AWARDED A SCHOLARSHIP NAMED AFTER U. DZHOLDASBEKOV

During the anniversary events dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR and the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an outstanding scientist-mechanic, famous statesman and public figure Umirbek Arslanovich Dzholdasbekov, students of Al-Farabi KazNU were awarded a scholarship named after U. A. Dzholdasbekov.

As part of the events dedicated to the anniversary of U. Dzholdasbekov, an international competition for research projects in mathematics and mechanics is being held. Traditionally, it has been held for ten years, together with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the research center "Daryn". This year, about 200 students from countries such as Germany, France, Turkey, Indonesia are taking part in the competition. Among the applicants for the prizes of the competition are doctoral students and students of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of KazNU.

The university is constantly working to stimulate talented students. In order to support the MECHANICS team of the Department of Mechanics, representing KazNU at the ROBOCON 2021 robotics championship, among the universities of the Republic, a scholarship named after U. A. Dzholdasbekov in the amount of 800,000 tenge was established.

This scholarship was awarded to doctoral students of the specialty "mechanics": 3rd year - B.O. Amanov, 2nd year - N.M. Nurullaev, 2nd year - E. M. Zholdasov, 1st year specialty "robotic system" B.М. Sagitzhanov; bachelors of the specialty "mechanics": 3rd year (robotic system) - M.T. Smamkozhaev, 3rd year (robotic system) - B.A.Ubaidullaev and 4th year - Z.N.Shutov.
