Head of the Department of Mathematical and Computer Modeling, Professor of KazNU Alibek Isakhov won in the nomination "Highly Cited Kazakhstani Author" of the prestigious award "Leader of Science - Web of Science Awards 2020" in the subject area "Physics".

Under the authorship of Alibek Isakhov, 36 articles have been published in top-rated publications with a total number of citations - 285.

The field of scientific research of Professor A. Isakhov is vast. It affects such branches of knowledge as: engineering, physics and astronomy, mathematics, chemical engineering, energy, medicine, biochemistry, genetics and molecular biology, informatics.

More than 50 students and undergraduates defended themselves with honors under his leadership. For a significant contribution to the development of science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, A. Isakhov was noted with many awards: the best young scientist of Al-Farabi KazNU (2014), a state scholarship for talented young scientists (2016 and 2020), a medal for contribution to the development of the university dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Al-Farabi KazNU (2016), the title of "Best teacher of the university", a medal for contribution to the development of Al-Farabi KazNU (2019).

At present, Professor A. Isakhov is a corresponding member of the National Engineering Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. On New Year's Eve, he was awarded a certificate of honor by the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Aimagambetov. On www.scopus.com, Alibek Abdiashimovich's h-index is 16, which indicates a high citation rate and interest in his works by scientists from all over the world.
