Representatives of the Academy of Management of Hansu (PRC) visited Al-Farabi KazNU and the guests got acquainted with the main activities of the country's leading University. During the meeting, the Parties discussed the possibility of concluding a Memorandum for mutually beneficial cooperation.

Foreign colleagues acquainted the meeting participants with the development of the Hansu Academy of Management, spoke about the achievements of the University and the experience of training specialists for state and local authorities. During the meeting, representatives of higher educational institutions of the two countries discussed plans for further cooperation, the possibility of concluding a Memorandum on bilateral cooperation.

«We train personnel in the state and local authorities of the Gansu province, and study the social problems of society. The two countries have developed very close contacts in the framework of the «One Belt, One Road» project, - Professor Wang Wei emphasized in his speech. - There are great prospects for cooperation between the Academy of Management of Hansu and Al-Farabi KazNU, which will have a beneficial effect on the development of two universities. Your experience in training civil servants that we would like to adopt is valuable to us. Within the framework of cooperation, we are ready to accept students for study at our universities, as well as exchange teaching experience».

In turn, Vice-Rector of KazNU Askar Khikmetov expressed his readiness to assist foreign colleagues in realizing the goals of cooperation, suggested organizing a meeting with the leadership of the Chinese Universities in the country, sending teachers to universities in China to exchange experiences and study training for the Chinese state system. The meeting participants also discussed issues related to alternative energy sources, distribution of transboundary water resources and research on the green economy as a whole.
