Opening ceremony of the mobile information and image project of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy – entitled «Elbasy. Youth. Creativity» was held at Al-Farabi KazNU. It was attended by public and state figures, famous scientists, students and academic staff of the University.

Rector of KazNU, academician Galym Mutanov and Director of the Library of Elbasy, Doctor of Political Sciencesm Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov made a congratulatory speech. As it was highlighted, the mobile information and image project is aimed at popularizing the creative ideas and initiatives of Elbasy among the general public and to promote unique funds, develop methods for organizing excursions, and also introduce the life and activities of the First President Kazakhstan, N.A. Nazarbayev.

During the event, the Presidential Orchestra of the State Guard performed a program on the square of KazNU with a program of the parade-ground with a guard of honor of the State Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

A large comprehensive exhibition «Youth is the Foundation of Nation» was organized for guests and students in the KazNU library, in the framework of the project «Elbasy. Youth. Creativity».

The materials from the archival, museum and book collection of the Elbasy Library were displayed on it. Students and guests get acquainted with a unique archival rare material - theses and handwritten notes of Elbasy during meetings, personal correspondence with Heads of states and Heads of international organizations, and diplomatic gifts.

As A. Rakhimzhanov said, field trips will be conducted in many regions of Kazakhstan and abroad, which will enable people to get acquainted with interesting facts from the biography of Elbasy, archival documents and photographic materials about the activities of the First President, as well as reveal the first steps in the formation of Independent Kazakhstan. It should be noted that field trips will provide an opportunity to personally see and touch the exhibits that are rarely exhibited in the Museum.

In conclusion, a panel lecture was held for the students and teachers of KazNU, on the topic of youth policy in a global and regional context, the strategy of youth policy in Kazakhstan. Responding to questions from the audience, the Director of the Elbasy Library, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov emphasized the Elbasy phenomenon as a moral guideline for the younger generation.

Also during the lecture was shown a documentary film about Elbasy - «Chosen by Time».
