Master's students of the Far East department have completed an internship at the Hanguk University of Foreign Studies

From January 12 to 26, 2018, graduate students of the 2nd course of the Department of the Far East of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Sermukhametova B., Tussupova A., Barbossynova N., Bakhytzhan T. and Ibragimova A. successfully passed a research internship at the Institute of History and Culture at the Hanguk University of Foreign Studies (Seoul, Republic of Korea).

During this period the graduates listened to a short course of lectures, covering topical issues related to political processes, the role of translation studies and Eastern countries in the international arena and international relations between countries, as well as methods of academic writing.
The internship program also included acquaintance with the main research directions of the Institute of History and Culture of the Hanguk University of Foreign Studies. The master’s students noted that the library has an extensive database, electronic catalogs, rare books, and that they have been able to collect the necessary material for master's theses in both Korean and English, that allows examining studies from different angles.

The graduates highly praise the level and quality of teaching at the Institute of History and Culture at the Hanguk University of Foreign Studies, note the effectiveness of the educational process created for the students.

Thus, the research internship realized the international exchange and cooperation in the field of scientific research and studies in the field of culture. In addition, this internship allowed the graduates to gain additional experience and the opportunity to establish contacts with foreign applicants of a scientific degree.
