At the Department of Japanese Studies of the Department of the Far East of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, KazNU. Al-Farabi is a great and fruitful work with students. The department celebrates with students first year students. At this event, students from the 1st to 4th year of the Japanese language department, the head of the department and the faculty, as well as students from Japan studying at KazNU participated. This year, the number of enrolled students has increased, compared to the previous years, and amounted to 24 students. Head of the Department of the Far East Em Natalia Borisovna made a welcome speech. In her speech, she told about the history and development of the department and introduced the teachers of the department of Japanese studies. Students of each course performed with concert numbers and conducted cognitive games. Then came the foreign students from Japan. After the main part, students returned from Japan began to talk about their travel. It was very interesting to hear different stories and advice from those who personally visited the Land of the Rising Sun. Every freshman hopes to go to Japan in exactly the same way and tell new freshmen about it. The event was very busy and useful for first-year students. The students of the first year were satisfied and think that they planned their future goals.
