Within the project "100 books" on February 27, 2018, an action "I read books # I am in a trend" was organized.

The organizers of the action were members of the club, undergraduates of the specialty "Linguistics" under the guidance of the teachers of the department of general linguistics and European languages ​​Zh.K. Ybrayeva and G.A. Boribayeva. The 1st year students of the specialty "Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages" of the Faculty of Philology and World Languages ​​and students of the 1st course of the specialty "Librarianship" of the Faculty of History and Archeology of KazNU took part in the organization of the action. It should be noted that this event became a good tradition of the department of general linguistics and European languages ​​and the club "Zhas Linguist". This year, as in the past, Bookcrossing was organized by the organizers of the action, the book of which was made up of books from the personal library of the head of the chair Professor Madiyeva G.B., professor of the department Zh.K. Ybrayeva and the library of the department.

The students who took part in the bookrocking noted that the books presented to the exchange and gifts were useful and interesting. Students themselves could bring books for exchange and recommend classmates books for reading. Reading books is a fascinating journey into a beautiful world of new and unknown, this is gaining experience and sharing information.
