10 teams of regional studies students from six universities of the country took part in the Olympiad: Almaty Management University, M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan State University, L.N. Gumilyov ENU, Al-Farabi KazNU, Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, Turan University. Participants of the Olympiad demonstrated their knowledge on the system history of international relations, the history of peoples and regions of the world and also showed themselves in the debate on creation of independent Catalonia. Al-Farabi KazNU (kazakh dep) and L.N. Gumilyov ENU (russian dep) teams won in competition. Winners and participants of the Olympiad received diplomas, certificates of KazNU and gifts.
