Scientific-Practical Conference on «Actual Issues of Preventive Vaccination Against Infectious Diseases in the RK» has began its work in Al-Farabi KazNU.

Leading experts and scientists in the field of immunologic prophylaxis will discuss topical issues of organization of preventive vaccination, effectiveness of modern vaccines, ways to increase vaccination coverage of the people in order to prevent epidemics of infectious diseases.

The organizers of the Conference are the RSE «Scientific and Practical Center for Sanitary and Epidemiological Expertise and Monitoring» of the Committee for Public Health Protection of the Ministry of Health of the RK, Department of Epidemiology and Hygiene of the Medical Faculty of Al-Farabi KazNU, and the «Vaccinology» PA.

Well-known foreign experts, including from Russia – the Head of the Department for the Prevention of Infectious Diseases of the FGBU «Scientific Research Institute of Children's Infections, Federal Medical and Biological Agency» S.M. Kharit, Head of the Department of SEI «South Ural State Medical University» G.L. Ignatova, Chief Expert of Moscow CAD Pediatric Infectious Diseases A.Yu. Rtishchev, Head of the Medical Expertise Department of «Sanofi Pasteur» Company Representative Office A. Goldstein, Head of the Medical Vaccines in Russia and the CIS «GlaxoSmithKline» E. Shpeer (UK) and a National Expert of the WHO Office in Uzbekistan R. Latypov, have delivered presentation in the Conference.

The Conference is being attended by the epidemiologists from the territorial departments of the Public Health Protection Committee of the MH of the RK, pediatricians, general practitioners and specialists, responsible for organizing immunization by the health departments of oblasts, cities of Almaty and Astana, including private vaccination rooms and centers, representatives of academic staff of medical universities of the country, students and undergraduates of medical specialties of Al-Farabi KazNU.
