CAMPUS IN THE CAMPUS or new students of the University of Tsukuba in KazNU

The Campus in the campus project has been existing for four years and at this semester the Department of the Far East accepts new students from the University of Tsukuba within the framework of the Cooperative Educational Program for the training of personnel in the economic and scientific fields on the multi-linguistic system in Japan, the CIS countries and the Baltic (agreement of 15 February 2015).

The program "Regional Studies. Politics, Economics and Culture of Central Asia "provides both theoretical and practical training with visiting historical sights of Central Asia.
Every year the program becomes more attractive, and most importantly, it becomes popular among Japanese students. A video about the KazNU named after Al-Farabi can be seen in every building of the University of Tsukuba. The Scientific and Educational Center of the Studies of Japan and Central Asia offers new disciplines, as well as field research.
The result was a new winter school in 2018 in KazNU for four students of the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Tsukuba with the acquisition of new knowledge about Kazakhstan and obtaining certificates. The final event was a seminar where students shared their impressions about KazNU and told Kazakhstani students about their field of scientific interests and plans for the future.
